Aren’t these beautiful! The basket weaving courses we’ve lined up in March and April (February’s date is fully booked) will get you well on the road to making these wonderful additions to your garden or patio!
And here’s a reminder of the courses we’re running and what you can expect in the two days…
What a great opportunity we have for you to learn a new skill that will last a life time! For the second year running, Pierre Contamine & Mary Williams will be guiding you through the process of identifying and gathering materials to weave into your own wonderful baskets. Wild clematis, which we have in abundance and brambles, which we also have in abundance (and have the scars to prove it!) are ideal materials to use in baskets and what we don’t have, Pierre brings with him, so there’s a good selection to work and weave from.
Armed only with your own secateurs or sharp small knife, you’ll be shown how to strip off the bark and well, just get going!
We advise you to wear or bring warm clothing and boots as the weather might be unpredictable.
The courses run over 2 days and are on the following dates: February 26th & 27th ; March 23rd & 24th ; April 20th & 21st.
Each course is 80€ in total. This includes all tuition fees, all materials, 2 course lunches, refreshments and use of the Jacuzzi. At the end of the day, why not jump in the Jacuzzi to relax and unwind after all your hard work! Please bring your swim suit, towel and foot wear (flip flops, crocs or slippers) if you would like to take advantage of this unique offer!
Please contact us NOW to reserve a place on your preferred course dates or risk having to wait till next year!
